Visitor Info
Mountain Star Farms is located in one of the prettiest corners of our New Hampshire. We are in Swiftwater on NH Route 112, a popular Scenic and Cultural Byway, right between Interstates I-93 and I-91. Come for a visit and enjoy some of the area attractions: Covered Bridges: There are three covered bridges within 10 miles of the farm. Swiftwater, Bath and Woodsville each have lovely old covered bridges for you to stop at (or drive over).
White Mountain National Forest: Our Swiftwater farm is on the edge of this 780,000 acre treasure of forests, streams and rugged mountains. Hike, mountain bike, fish, swim or picnic. In the fall, the foliage is breathtaking and in the summer the cool mountain air is invigorating.
Franconia Notch: Echo and Profile Lakes, the Flume and the Old Man of the Mountains are in the park as are hiking and bike trails and Cannon Mountain.
Cannon Mountain: Ski and snowboard in the winter on one of New England's most fun and challenging mountains. Take a tram ride anytime for a fantastic view of the White Mountains. The light on the top of the tramway is the mountain "star" the farm is named for.
Loon Mountain: Loon is New Hampshire's most visited ski area and has numerous other activities year-round at the mountain and in Lincoln.
The Brick Store: America's Oldest General Store is located near us in the village of Bath, New Hampshire. Noted for their homemade baked goods, fudge, and maple-smoked meats and cheeses, they make our popular New England Holiday Basket for us. Visit them on the web at www.thebrickstore.com.
